Conveyor Systems Designed & Built in the UK
CCL designs, manufactures and installs complete conveyor systems from Loughborough. We connect production, packing and warehouse processes with conveyors, transfers and controls specified around your products, site layout and target output.
System specification: define minimum and maximum product sizes, load weights, normal and peak throughput, transfer heights and available floor space. Belt speed alone does not determine output: product spacing, machine cycle times and accumulation capacity must work together.
Conveyors and transfers: combine belt conveyors, modular belts, rollers or pallet conveyors with suitable bends, lifts and transfer points. We assess product support, orientation, queueing and access across the complete route.
Controls and integration: our team plans sensors, drives, control panels and PLC sequencing. The specification defines machine signals, stopping and restarting, operator controls and downstream stoppage behaviour. Wider projects can include factory automation.
Delivery: agree the layout and 3D drawings, factory acceptance checks, site access, installation and commissioning scope before manufacture. Capacity and performance are specified for each application, with ongoing support from CCL.
Conveyor systems delivered by CCL
Morningside, Loughborough: an enclosed powered roller bridge handling 1,500 kg pallet loads across approximately 10 metres, including calculations, controls and mechanical installation.
North West conveyor bridge: a twin-tier enclosed route with lift transfers between buildings approximately 40 metres apart. Engineering addressed load sharing, alignment and transfer interfaces. These figures describe those installations.
Prepare your brief using our technical planning guides, explore the conveyor types below, or discuss your conveyor system with CCL.

What affects the cost? Conveyor length and width, product loads, belt and frame materials, controls, integration and installation all shape the quotation.
How long will it take? Standard belt conveyors typically take 4–6 weeks, confirmed at quotation. Bespoke system lead times are agreed around the project specification.
What should I send? Include product size and maximum weight, target throughput, working heights and site location. A photo or layout helps, along with cleaning requirements and details of existing machinery. Our Loughborough engineers can help develop your brief.
