Custom Made Control Panels
We design and manufacture control panels for industrial machinery and automated processes. Each panel brings together the electrical and electronic components needed to monitor and control the application. Designs can incorporate programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and safety systems. We consider cabinet space, cable access, installation constraints, the working environment and integration with existing equipment. Our projects span materials handling, manufacturing, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, water processing and chemical handling. The specification is agreed around the requirements of each project.
Software Engineering
Our automation engineers develop control software for applications ranging from motor starters to automated warehouse systems. We work with Siemens, Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi PLC platforms, selecting the approach to suit your equipment and operating requirements. Our project experience includes pharmaceuticals, food production, automotive manufacturing, materials handling, water treatment and chemical processing. We also develop Windows applications in C# for system visualisation, data logging and operator control, alongside Microchip PIC programming for bespoke embedded applications. Planning, documentation and testing form part of the development process.
Advanced Design Capabilities
We use EPLAN Pro Panel to develop control cabinet layouts and 3D models before assembly. This helps us review component positions, access and available space during the design stage. Electrical schematics and supporting documentation are prepared to assist installation, fault-finding and maintenance. Our team also works with SOLIDWORKS Electrical and AutoCAD Electrical, allowing documentation formats to be agreed around your project and existing engineering standards.
Installation And Commissioning
Our installation team fits the electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with the agreed drawings and project requirements. We plan site work with your team, taking account of access, production schedules and the existing operation. Commissioning follows a structured programme of start-up checks and testing. We check individual components and the integrated system against the agreed operating requirements, then address any identified issues before handover.
