Our high quality baler machines are able to compress large volumes of cardboard and can have several benefits including saving your company time, space, money and helping to increase your recycling output.
Effective management of waste disposal Reduce waste collection costs Creation of new revenue streams by selling compacted recyclable materials Reduce landfill tax costs Keep your business neat and tidy and hazard free.
Waste Balers are used for compacting waste, including materials such as cardboard’s, plastics, papers and everything in-between. Balers can convert waste into solid blocks of recyclable materials. The benefit of this being it can be easily collected for recycling. Balers minimize the working space needed for waste storage and reduce the cost of waste collection.

Twin ram balers are typically used in waste transfer stations or as part of a larger recycling MRF system where high volumes of various waste materials including RDF, SRF, plastic, PET and cardboard are being processed. High throughputs up to 40 tonne/hr are achievable. Waste can be fed into the machines using conveyor, shovel feed or selector grab.
A range of tying options is available. The fully automatic machines produce high density mill size bales, with bale weights of up to 1.4 tonnes. Two ram automatic balers can streamline bale production and dramatically increase profitability.
Twin Ram Balers :

TWO RAM BALERS will achieve maximum bale weights for loading containers but is also ideal for multi-material application, including Cardboard, Paper, Plastic films, Plastic bottles, hard plastics, Cans, RDF etc. The wide application range makes the TR series, as standard, ideal equipment for recycling centers to MRF systems.

Baler support Conveyors:

As standard, our balers come with a vertical hatch for pouring waste materials into. However, for fully automated operation it is normal for the baler to be 'fed' by a conveyor system, which allows operators to drop waste materials onto a horizontal conveyor at ground level, or even a pit in the floor. The conveyors then take the material away and up to the baler input hatch
This can be automated, in that the baler will send a signal back to the conveyor to indicate whether the hatch is ready for use, or if it is busy compressing a bale. Hence the conveyor only operates when the baler is ready to receive waste.
CCL has its own controls department, which is able to produce control panels with simple or complex automation, allowing for a simple single-baler operation, or more sophisticated interaction with multiple machines or conveyors.
Channel Balers:

The new range of Channel Balers are the result of over 20 years of design and development/
In his many years of design and manufacturing of these machines he realised where the early more traditional baler of this type were lacking for the demands on industry today. Whereas, in the past these machines were used mainly for paper and cardboard, they soon started to be used to bale just about anything from steel cans to hard mixed plastics.
CCL set out to create a baler that could cope with the vast range of materials that previous models struggled with. By drawing on this knowledge, they set about improving their machines where other manufacturers stood still.
As always reach out to us here at CCL for a discussion on your upgrade or new exciting project, we are only too happy to help.
