AB-Inbev Magor Brewery

CCL were tasked with replacing the old keg handling system at AB-Inbev Magor Brewery in South Wales.

The main accumulation conveyor system is split into two conveyors for maximum control of the process line from the processing plant to the filling area. The system travels 180 degrees via a new keg turning unit into the filling conveyor line.

The filing line conveyor system automatically feeds 16 lanes into the existing wash/filling units.

A pneumatically operated adjustable rail system allows various kegs of different sizes to be handled on the system.

Three further pneumatically operated stops per zone control the flow into the filling stations. A specially designed pneumatic pulling latch system automatically transfers the kegs into the existing filling lines.
