Plate Links have a hinged slat connected with a rod joining the slats together, making it a robust belt design. The Belt is driven by twin stands of hollow pin chain driven by a common shaft connected back to a geared motor unit. The side plates and cross flights slats can have perforations in the plate to allow drainage where required for wash plants. There is an extensive range of sprockets and belts available 3mm thick belts up to 6mm thick. Belts and framework can be manufactured from mild steel, 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel with surface treatments available if required. Plate Link conveyors can convey products flat or inclined and are a very versatile system that comes in a medium duty and heavy duty conveyor system.
