This conveyor design commonly, has a continuous loop, with twin stands of hollow pin chain driven by a common shaft connected back to a geared motor unit, with an enclosed framework.

The way the system generally works is that the product is dropped into an input chute and is then dragged along by a scrapper bar attached to the twin chain arrangement.

There is an extensive range of sprockets and chains available for different payloads, and the framework can be manufactured from mild steel, 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel.
